The script that recieves the time from the replay file had some problems, that it sometimes gave a time eventhough the replay wasn't finished. After there had been some talk about it I looked into it and thanks to some code from a vk script and ribot's txt about the level file structure I managed to fix these problems. This means you can't easily cheat anymore.

If anyone should have uploaded a non finished replay that gave a time on the site, accidentally or on purpose, I'm giving a safe conduct during March. So this means if you know you have a nonfinished record on the site you can come forward to me and you won't be banned or be hanged out publicly :) After March I will start checking the old replays with the improved script. Hopefully ofcourse there are no cheaters.

The new script also means that I can count the amount of apples taken in a replay, so I would like to ask if this is something people want? Please let me know in the comments. If it's wanted it will take some time however as it requires a different structure in the database, unless many people really want it, I can make some weird workaround and add it soon.

Adding an apple counter seems
superfluous to be honest, especially if
it means a lot of extra work on your
part. If a best time looks suspect, then
you can always check it manually
(granted, you could still cheat a second
best (or worse) time, but that would be
quite retarded). What you could
implement though is a "report" button,
where us users can report a suspect time
ourselves.

Oh, and the reason my posts looks like
this is because I'm using the Google
Chrome web browser, perhaps you could fix
that too?

Haha, no worries! My stationary computer
ceased to function properly (the network
just wont work anymore; i.e. no
internet), so I'm stuck with my netbook
which indeed is a sorry excuse for a
computer. That's my excuse for using
Google's software (since it's more power efficient). I have not dared yet to copy
my Elma folder onto this hellish device,
but I suspect the result will be
horrific :(

Well, since the script is already done, in my opinion, you could use apple counter here. It doesn't harm and will give at least some points to players who can't finish pipes. Like me :D
