We are now in the last event, which means the 1 skip rule will start to kick in. Here is a quick guide. Click on comments for rest of news post.

1. If you so far have played only 8 or less events you don't need to think about it, you will get all the points you gain from the last event.
2. If you have played all 9 previous events you can still play the last.
3. If you have played all 9 previous events you will only gain points in the total standings for 10th event if you get a place that is better than your current worst result, and you will only gain the amount that you improve your worst results with.
4. If you play all 10 events your worst results will still be there in the results for that event and eventually "take" points from others.

So lets take a look at who can get in top 5:
Madness now: 790p, worst: 4th (70p), can gain: 30p = 820p (1st)
finman now: 730p, worst: 5th (65p), can gain: 35p = 765p (2nd)
Spef now: 670p, worst: 5th (65p), can gain: 35p = 705p (3rd)
adi now: 584p, worst: 19th (32p), can gain: 68p = 652p (4th)
aspec now: 446p, worst: 15th (36p), can gain: 64p = 510p (5th)
Stini now: 438p, worst: N/A (0p), can gain: 100p = 538p (5th)
Labs now: 415p, worst: N/A (0p), can gain: 100p = 515p (5th)
NightMar now: 401p, worst: N/A (0p), can gain: 100p = 501p (5th)

Last part is how many points and which position they can potentially end up with. "Releasing" this kind of takes out a bit of excitement you might say, but it's info anyone could have found. Also I think it's more exciting when you know what you can do rather than competing in blindness, and it might give some people an extra incitament. I don't want people to misunderstand either, thinking they can get more points that they actually can.

This doesn't mean Madness should just lean back of course, he can help fellow team mate labs to fith place by trying to get in between him and aspec in the 10th event results. Also there will be plaque's on your Kopasite user page for every event win, so even if you have nothing to play for in the standings you can still try to get one (more) of these! or just for the sake of improving your lead to look even better. And of course it being an igge lev should be reason enough to hoyl it all week.
